The President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand who is also the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand is looking forward to the United Through Sports World Virtual Youth Festival.
General Prawit thanked the International Olympic Committee, the IPC and Special Olympics, and United Through Sports for granting patronage to this innovative initiative bringing the world’s youth into one virtual platform. The NOCT President further stated that the Coronavirus Pandemic requires all our solidarity, determination, compassion, and compromise and now more than ever we must be united by the Olympic, Paralympic and Special Olympics in all its diversity for a better tomorrow.
The fact that nearly 80 organisations are participating in this historical event showcases the solidarity of sport in the common crisis, and that everyone is equally excited to see the youth coming together in cultural and sporting exchange and the opening ceremony will be a celebration for and with the youth.
