From the 10-12th Forte Lauderdale in Florida was the hub of the inaugural SportAccord Regional Convention. Leaders and key decision makers from the Pan American region came together to discuss, to learn, to exhibit, network and to share knowledge.
Discussions were held to address directly hot topics in the sports world including: Social responsibility in sports, the future of International Federation Governance, a new perspective on Safeguarding Athletes amongst others.
UTS joined the event and had many promising and exciting discussions regarding 2020 and potential social prospects. Coming into the next decade, the vision of UTS remains strong with a focus on aligning with the world of sports to give back to society and bring opportunity, education, Olympic values and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
