The Centre for Sport and Human Rights welcomes the International Olympic Committee (IOC)’s Executive Board approval of their Strategic Framework on Human Rights made on Friday, 9 September, 2022. This framework was developed in response to Recommendation 13 of the Olympic Agenda 2020+5 and will shape the working practices of the IOC, the Olympic Games and the Olympic Movement, ensuring that human rights are respected within their respective remits. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced today that applications are now open for the sixth generation of the IOC Young Leaders programme, supported by Worldwide Olympic Partner Panasonic. The programme aims to support young people in the development and implementation of social projects that use sport to solve issues in their communities. World Youth Festival 2022 Received with Great Enthusiasm

Representatives from over 60 International Sport Federations (IF) and organizations participated in the first UTS World Youth Festival 2022 virtual meeting. The meeting outlined the upcoming World Youth Festival and Conference in conjunction with APEC 2022 in Bangkok. The event will be hybrid and will take place from 14-20 November 2022.
