The Centre for Sport and Human Rights welcomes the International Olympic Committee (IOC)’s Executive Board approval of their Strategic Framework on Human Rights made on Friday, 9 September, 2022. This framework was developed in response to Recommendation 13 of the Olympic Agenda 2020+5 and will shape the working practices of the IOC, the Olympic Games and the Olympic Movement, ensuring that human rights are respected within their respective remits. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced today that applications are now open for the sixth generation of the IOC Young Leaders programme, supported by Worldwide Olympic Partner Panasonic. The programme aims to support young people in the development and implementation of social projects that use sport to solve issues in their communities.
