UTS Virtual Youth festival 2020
This competition category will focus on strength, power and stamina.
The different sports disciplines and youth will be drawn against each other and their performance will be scored by 3 judges from different international federations.
The competition is run over 3 rounds with each round requiring contestants to complete as many of a designated exercise drills within the allotted time per round.
Age Categories & Round Timing:
U10 Male/Female - 3rounds x30 seconds
U11 Male/Female - 3rounds x30 seconds
U12 Male/Female - 3rounds x30 seconds
U13 Male/Female - 3rounds x30 seconds
U14 Male/Female - 3rounds x45 seconds
U15 Male/Female - 3rounds x45 seconds
U16 Male/Female - 3rounds 1 minute
U17 Male/Female - 3rounds 1 minute
U18 Male/Female - 3rounds 1 minute
MAX FIT COMPETITION CATEGORY EXERCISES
Ab curl from sit to stand position followed by 1, 2’s
- Without using hands will count as 2
- Using hands will count as 1
- Using both hands will count as 0.5
Side plank knee drives right knee to right elbow until half time
Side plank knee drives left knee to left elbow for rest of round
