More than 100 organisations have joined forces to unite on the digital platform from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the world for the UTS World Virtual Youth Festival 2021. The event is under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Paralympic Committee (IPC), Special Olympics International (SOI), GAISF, SportAccord and AIMS.
The theme of the festival is “United 4 the Future”. All organisations and youth of the world are coming together to demonstrate and promote inclusion, equality, non-discrimination and peace.
The 7-day event will see youth as young as 5 until the age of 18 of all abilities and from every part of the globe, standing together in sporting and culture exchange.
The youth will participate and enjoy themselves in five different competitions, Max Fit, Aero Fit, Talent, IPC Inclusive Challenge and the SOI Unified Fitness Challenge.
There are over 200 youth ambassadors together with the leaders of sport making a unified call towards a better tomorrow. The event will be in cooperation with the UN World Children’s Day.
Besides the competitions, there will be a 5-day education programme. With 4 interactive workshops and 6 panel sessions with world renown speakers.
